A simple piece on its own, though modeling it required me using my head to get the authenticity of a real trumpet down since I don't have one at my disposal. I really like this one, and I did at one time play the trumpet for anybody who's curious.

I feel like I could pick it up and play it!
Very lovely.
I love how you even put the lines where the slides connect (like the 2nd valve slide) since I see some people miss that (and the water valves)!

Wow, very good job. I was fooled by the preview into thinking it was a photograph. Being a trumpeter myself, I can say that this is definitely a job well done :) The reflections in the bell REALLY add to the image; a real trumpet would have very similar reflections in the bell.
I am VERY impressed with this, good job!

Oh, and the deviation: Bloody excellent. I love the post work you've done to bring out the highlights. Makes it look 'classic'.
